"And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. "Romans 8:28

The symbolism here (also discussed in the video) shows the brown area in the upper left as the difficult times we go through, and we see the dove as a symbol of the Holy Spirit is with us bringing peace (symbolized by the olive branch in the mouth of the dove). Also shown are the darker brown lines coming from the top and the side. These symbolize the absolute worst evil brings against us.

Note that all of this goes through the white rectangle in the middle which symbolizes God’s will. Also note the tears coming from God in the two white lines at the bottom of the rectangle. God weeps with us as Jesus did when Lazarus died.

On the right of the picture we see the cross which represents Christ and His love for us and the red area underneath the cross represents His Blood which absolves us of the guilt of our sin so that God does not have to give justice, but instead can give mercy.

At the bottom left, we have a series of gold dots. As Job said “when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” After the hardships we shall come forth as gold.

Also at the bottom, the words of Romans 8:28 are arranged and the evil against us (the brown rectangle at the bottom) is overcome.

Our perspective is not God’s perspective. My dog hates going to the groomer and is convinced it can’t be working for his good, but when he comes home clean and smelling good, I know it has indeed worked for good.
Hope you like the painting! Hope you love God!
